Error: Cannot proceed with the job: X existing backup meta file on repository X is not synchronized with the DB


Challenge

When doing backup-copy and or backup to ReVirt with Cloud Connect the error “Cannot proceed with the job: X existing backup meta file on repository X is not synchronized with the DB.” - is recieved. 

Solution

Do a rescan of the cloud repository. 

Cause

This is due to the Veeam database not being in sync with the data that remains on the Veeam Cloud Connect repository.
